Who pays if I lose a case in Singapore?

Costs generally follow the event: the loser is usually ordered to pay part of the winner's costs, as fixed or assessed by the court. A conditional fee agreement with your own lawyer, where allowed, does not cover that risk, so ask whether insurance or a funder can cover adverse costs.
