How firms charge, country by country
Hand-verified firms grouped by the fee model they publish. A country appears under a model only when at least 5 hand-verified firms offer it.
- Contingency and success fees
- The lawyer is paid a share of what you recover, or a fee that is due only if the case succeeds (including CFAs, DBAs, cuota litis and Erfolgshonorar).
- No win, no fee
- The firm states that you pay its fees only if you win. Court costs, expenses and the other side's costs can still apply, so read the agreement.
- Litigation funding
- A third-party funder pays the legal costs in exchange for a share of the recovery, and usually loses its outlay if the claim fails.
