Are contingency fees legal in Poland?

Not as the only fee. The Polish Bar's code of ethics does not allow an advocate's fee to depend solely on the result (pactum de quota litis), but a success fee on top of a base fee is permitted and common. Agree the base fee, the success fee and how it is calculated in writing.
