How much does a no-win-no-fee lawyer charge in the United States?
There is no national rate. Many personal injury lawyers charge around one third of the recovery, often more if the case goes to trial, and some states set sliding-scale caps, for example for medical malpractice. Check whether expenses are deducted before or after the percentage is applied, and get the agreement in writing.
